Once again, I am behind on our updates! We left Paducah and continued up the Ohio River, then to the Cumberland River into Kentucky Lake. Kentucky Lake is beautiful and Dea would have been happy to just stop here and move to Tennessee! We stayed at Kenlake Marina.

The next day was pretty short (in comparison) 54 miles to Pebble Isle Marina in Johnsonville, TN. We arrived early enough to check in, then take the boat back out again to anchor out in a cove and relax on our floaties! It was a perfect day!

Day 12 took us to Clifton Marina. It was pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but we were safely tied up with electricity!

Our final day of travel! Day 13 took us through our last lock. We made our way onto Pickwick Lake. We spent the day admiring beautiful lake houses and RV’s. Destination: Aqua Yacht Safe Harbor. 13 days of travels with some delays and some mishaps, but overall safe and sound!

What’s next? We are pushing pause on the Loop for a bit. Larry is scheduled for his rotator cuff repair 9/8 and Dea will get a new hip on 9/30. We will recuperate in Lawrence and hopefully resume our adventures around Thanksgiving.
