Our plan
We plan to spend the spend the summer learning the in’s and out’s of cruising on Lake Michigan out of Pier 1000 Marina in Benton Harbor, MI. We will begin the journey south at the end of the summer

Red Pearl is a reliable, well-equipped Mainship 400 Trawler. Dea refers to her as a slow, fat boat with a cruising speed of about 9 mph.
